ADVENTURE CAMP / ACTIVITY

Following activities are carried out in camp suiting the requirements of guests:-

HIKING
The area presents endless avenues for the hiking enthusiasts. From a two-hour hike in the surrounding area to a full day Hike lakes, torrential rivers and gushing streams; fruit laden orchards and gentle terraces of corn and tea all characterize this state.

SIGHT SEEING
Those who are not so fond of walking need not be disappointed. There are plenty of places connected by metalled/mud tracks. Choose your destination and we will take you there.

ANGLING
The streams of Himachal Pradesh fall under two categories; General waters and Trout waters, with estimated length of 600 and 2400 kms respectively. The major State’s streams include- Beas, Sutlej, Ravi, Tirthan, Sainj, Uhl, Baspa, Pabar, Lambadug, Giri, Rana, Nugal Gai, Baner, Bata, etc.The major fishes available in these streams are Trout, Mahseer, Nemacheilus spp, Barilus sp, Schizothoracids Crossocheilus sp. Glyptothorax spp. etc. Fishing in these streams is reguarsied under the state fisheries Act. In trout water licences only for rod and line are permitted while in general water both rod and line as well as cast netting is all allowed. The department has identified the following stretches as potential fishing sports for trout and mahseer.

An anglers' paradise. Himachal has several spots for both trout and mahaseer - as well as other fish. Acclaimed as the best sport fish in the world, both Brown and Rainbow Trout are to be found in Himachal's streams. Upstream of Rohru in the Pabbar valley, there are several spots ideal for fishing.


Chirgaon has the trout hatchery, and other sites are - Seema, Mandli, Sandasu, Tikri and Dhamvari; all are within 5 to 25 km of Rohru.

Fishing fees are nominal. The trout fishing season is from 31 March to 31 October. Generally, the best months for mahaseer are those that have an 'r' in their spelling - January, Fabruary, March, April, September, October, November and December.

ROCK CLIMBING
We give you exposure to rock climbing and rappling.

7. Open to conduct educational training like group discussion etc on specific requests from schools/ gaurdians For those who don’t want to indulge in any activity and just chill out. There are plenty of places to put your legs up. Read/write, listen to chirping of birds and just enjoy the nature.
